I love this school because there are so many nice kids and because of the kind teachers we have. We have so much space to run around.

A variety of extra-curricular, optional clubs happen throughout the week. These are both before school and after the end of the school day. Each term the choice of clubs available are shared with pupils and parents/guardians. Pupils can put their name down to join a club each term.

Assembly

We hold collective worship every day in the form of whole school, key stage and class assemblies. Parents have the right to withdraw a child from assembly should they so wish. Parents are invited to attend our special assemblies – these dates will be advertised on our newsletter and on our school calendar. After the class assemblies parents are invited back to the classroom to view and celebrate their child’s work.

Home Time

At the end of the school day the children leave the building via the back door in their classroom. The class teacher will allow the children to leave after they have been dismissed and when the parent or carer has been identified. Children in Years 5 and 6 are allowed to leave without waiting for a responsible adult, please complete this form to allow permission. Older siblings must not be responsible in collecting younger siblings without the parent being present.

If you are held up for some reason and are not able to make it for school pick-up time please do not panic we will look after your child until you arrive. If at all possible, please do call the school office so we can let your child know what is happening.
